- สามารถใช้เครื่องหมายคำพูด “Thailand” เพื่อกำหนดขอบเขตของข้อมูลในการคนหาได้ จะทำให้ได้ผลลัพธ์แคบลง

การใช้คำ “สำหรับเล่นอินเทอร์เน็ต” ที่อาจจะทำให้หลายๆ คนเข้าใจได้ว่า อินเทอร์เน็ต ก็คือ WWW (World Wide Web) ซึ่งเป็นความเข้าใจที่ไม่ถูกต้องเสียทีเดียว เพราะคำว่า WWW เป็นแค่ส่วนหนึ่งของ อินเทอร์เน็ต ซึ่งเป็นคำที่มีความหมายกว้างขวางกว่า และยังรวมเอาการใช้งานหรือหรือบริการอื่นๆ นอกจาก WWW เอาไว้ด้วย เช่น อีเมล์ (e-mail) แชท (Chat) IRC และ FTP เป็นต้น
